The people who work at FamilyLife come from many different backgrounds and have many different interests. And while each member of the FamilyLife team brings wisdom gained from a wide range of experience, we all share one thing in common, a passionate dedication to the fulfillment of our mission. From our co-founders, Dennis and Barbara Rainey, to our newest volunteer, everyone on the FamilyLife team believes that changing and improving lives is not just possible, but essential.
Here is the team leading our way:
President, Chief Executive Officer, and Co-Founder
Since the organization began in 1976, Dennis Rainey's leadership has enabled FamilyLife to grow into a dynamic and vital ministry that offers people God's blueprints for building solid marriage and family relationships. Dennis is the host of FamilyLife Today®, FamilyLife's nationally syndicated radio program. Dennis earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas and a master's degree in biblical studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. He also holds an honorary doctorate from Trinity Evangelical University and Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois. Dennis and Barbara have been married since 1972 and love laughing with their six children and numerous grandchildren.
Senior Vice President, Chief Creative Officer
In addition to his leadership responsibilities, Bob Lepine is the co-host of FamilyLife Today, FamilyLife's nationally syndicated radio program. He is the author of The Christian Husband, the on-air voice for Truth for Life with Alistair Begg, and serves on the board of directors for the National Religious Broadcasters. Bob also serves as an elder and teaching pastor at Redeemer Community Church. He has a bachelor's degree in communications from the University of Tulsa. Bob and his wife, Mary Ann, have been married since 1979. They are parents to five children, and grandparents to an ever-growing number of grandchildren.
Executive Vice President, Chief Operations Officer
Originally from North Carolina, Chris earned his BS degree from NC State University and his MA in Management & Leadership from Liberty University. He also holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Chris spent 20 years in various operational leadership roles within the textile and medical device manufacturing industries. He has managed multi-site operations with global supply chain responsibilities, including M&A experience. God now uses his operational management experience to serve in full-time ministry at FamilyLife. Chris and his wife, Mary, joined staff in 2011 and find serving at FamilyLife their most rewarding endeavor. They also find great joy in the opportunity to speak together at the WTR® marriage events. They reside in Little Rock, Arkansas, with their children, Chloe and Charlie, and enjoy having their married daughter, Claire, and son-in-law, Brandon, living nearby. They are active members at Fellowship Bible Church and lead small groups and serve other couples in marriage ministry.
