It was God that had me turn on the radio the morning Dawn Smith Jordan was speaking on the subject of "forgiveness". I had just returned from my father's funeral out-of-state. He was not a Christian. He disowned me and divorced me from the rest of my family when I got saved 25 yrs. ago. I continued to keep in contact with my family and visited when I could. It has been 25 yrs. of great oppression, heartache, sorrow, and misery. My parents missed out on 7 incredible grandchildren. I continued to pray for their salvation and was determined to honor my parents though they didn't want to have anything to do with me. Even at the funeral, my father left instructions to hurt me during the eulogy. It wasn't until I was listening to your program that I realized I had to forgive him. I thought I had. I thought I had given all my hurt to God. But when I started listening to your program early that morning, I was suddenly overcome with uncontrolable tears and weeping. I couldn't cry o
