Dennis Rainey: Let me ask you a question, how do you cope with problems in your marriage?
Guest: The last two years have been really full of pressure for us. This last year more than ever we've had to go see someone to really help us walk through what we're going through.[ Read Full Transcript ]
Dennis Rainey: That does happen in some marriages. You feel your marriage relationship is in trouble, maybe even near the edge of divorce. If you feel your marriage is near that breaking point, let me offer two pieces of good advice.
First of all, humble yourself and seek help. In fact, seek out Godly counsel. Don't just go to some secular psychiatrist or someone who would offer counsel without reference to the Bible. Second, seek someone who will pray for you, and for your marriage. Find someone who will be your prayer warrior.
One final thought. All marriages are worth fighting for. I know that God doesn't want you to give up on your spouse, so find that Godly counsel, and find a prayer partner. I believe, if you'll do those two things, your marriage CAN go the distance.
I'm Dennis Rainey, and that's Real Family Life.
