Dennis Rainey: Author Jamie Buckingham once wrote, “The problem with Christians [in our culture] is that no one wants to kill them anymore.”
Bob Lepine: We asked this young lady, "Have you ever been persecuted for your faith?"
Guest: Not yet. Not yet...may come a day, but not yet. I'll be ready.
Dennis Rainey: One day, my wife was out running errands. She was driving on a windy, two-lane highway, at about 45 to 50 miles per hour. As she rounded a corner and topped a hill, there, to her horror, standing on the yellow line, was a toddler in a diaper! Barbara immediately slammed on her brakes, skidded around the child, stopped, threw open her door, and starting running back up the road to get this young lad. Evidently, his mom had heard the screeching tires and gathered the little boy up before Barbara got back to him. I’m sure that young lad learned a very important and valuable lesson - the middle of the road is no place to be.
I believe that Christian families need to learn that as well.
One final thought. We need to courageously take a stand for truth of the Bible. And do you know what? It all starts at home.
I'm Dennis Rainey, and that's Real FamilyLife.
