FamilyLife Releases Innovative Evangelistic Resource

People are searching for answers to life’s most profound questions today––especially about faith. In response to this need, FamilyLife has just released an innovative resource, Explore, written by Robert Lewis, creator of the Men’s Fraternity™ curriculum.

“Every Christian is called to be ready to share the faith,” says Dave Daggett of FamilyLife, who worked with Lewis to help develop Explore. “This is a tool that can help you prepare to be ready to do just that. Many times we overlook witnessing opportunities because we don’t feel prepared.”

Explore consists of three elements:

  • A workbook that is used to take non-believers through a three-session exploration of Christianity.
  • A five-week DVD training series that encourages believers in their faith and helps equip them to explain to others how to know Christ.
  • A Web-based training and support system.

Sarah Bowden of Little Rock, Arkansas, says, “Explore has transformed my life.” She has taken a number of women through the workbook to help them examine the claims of Christianity. Using the leader’s guide and student workbook, Bowden says, has given her confidence to reach out to others with the gospel. “It took the pressure off of me because I don’t have to come up with the information.”

Desiring to create resources that reveal God’s truth in a winsome way, FamilyLife has partnered with Lewis with the hope that God will use Explore to help millions of people understand and follow Jesus Christ.

Explore helped me share my faith by allowing me to have confidence in what I was speaking about,” says Roy Neblett of Little Rock, “… and a way to talk about Christ and the Bible and to help people understand how the Bible is real and how Christ is real.” Using the workbook, he says, helps lead non-believers “to a place where they can make a decision that they’re confident in, that they feel passionate about, and that they understand.”

The Explore website offers information and videos about Explore and how you can use it in your church. You can purchase the Explore small group training kit by visiting the FamilyLife online store.
