Dennis Rainey: Do you want to know how to improve the spiritual climate of our country?
Guest: I think America's morals could improve by people really focusing on the Bible, and the truths that are in the Bible, and live by the Bible truths.
Dennis Rainey: You know, she's right, and one of those Biblical truths, is that we need to repent. I counseled a woman a number of years ago, who had been married for 40 years. But through many of those years, she had been unfaithful to her husband. I was convinced that if her repentance and healing were to be com plete, she must go to her husband and confess.
Well, she finally did confess her sin to her husband. She asked for his forgiveness. After many, many tears -- he did forgive her! A spiritual housecleaning took place in her life. God's grace and mercy were experienced in her marriage relationship.
One final thought. The spiritual climate in America will improve as individuals come clean with God. I've got a question for you. Is there anything you are hiding from your spouse? Maybe it's time you come clean.
