Dennis Rainey: In the Old Testament, God told the people of Israel to keep the words of truth everywhere-- "on the doorposts of your house and on your gates."
In our house, Barbara wrote a verse in calligraphy along the top of the walls in our kitchen. And when our children were smaller, they had the Ten Commandments framed in their rooms. Later, when they started driving, they had Scriptures right next to the speedometer!
I'm convinced that displaying the Scriptures in our homes is one of the ways we can improve the spiritual diets of our families. You might tape a special verse for each child on the bathroom mirror. And there's always a need for the great praise music playing in your home.
One final thought. The options are many, so be creative! Increase your family's intake of the Word of God today.
