Dennis Rainey: Over the years, I've heard of some pretty creative ways that families have used to teach their children about the reality of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

A friend of mine stopped by our studio here at FamilyLife to show me something she'd been doing in her neighborhood for years. She went to a craft store and bought plastic eggs. Into each egg she placed a different item to represent the events surrounding Easter. Then she typed up a sheet of paper with some Bible verses to explain what the contents of each egg stood for. It was a simple, yet creative idea that we have since called "Resurrection Eggs."

One final thought. You can be creative, too. Think of some simple way to teach your children about the reality of Jesus Christ, who is risen from the dead. By the way, if you're interested in purchasing those Resurrection Eggs, check out familylife.com.

I'm Dennis Rainey, and that's Real FamilyLife.
