Dennis Rainey: Do you know what you believe about God? I mean what you REALLY believe about Him?

Guest:“I remember when I was younger, where I said Jesus was the way, and I said that I believed that, but I looked for the answer in other things, and I see a lot of young people today that they think they believe, but they really don’t know that they don't believe.”[ Read Full Transcript ]

Dennis Rainey: I see polls routinely that indicate that about 90% of Americans believe there is a God, and most of them believe that Jesus Christ is His Son. But there is a vast discrepancy between what people say they believe and the way people live their lives.

If we really believe something, it changes our behavior, it changes the way we act. You hear a lot of talk today about people who are religious hypocrites, who say they believe one thing, but their life simply doesn’t match up. The bottom line is they simply do not believe.

One final thought. What do YOU say you believe? And does your life reflect that it’s real? Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life." Do you really believe Him? More importantly, do you live like it? Can your children and spouse see it?

I’m Dennis Rainey, and THAT’s Real FamilyLife.
