Dennis Rainey: Jesus asked His followers, "Who do people say that I am?" Who is Jesus?

Guest: "Jesus is to me a, uh, outstanding force that is, uh, infinite in its distance and strength…Uhh…but doesn't really hit me directly...I don't know if I can even answer that question." [ Read Full Transcript ]

Dennis Rainey: Jesus Christ. Is He a force? Just a great teacher, or is He God in the flesh? If we were to ask this same young man who George Washington is, or Julius Caesar, he'd have no problem. But when we asked him about Jesus Christ, well, as you just heard, he's really confused. And he's not alone.

How would you answer the question, "Who is Jesus Christ?" or how would your son or daughter answer that same question?

Peter was once asked by Jesus, "Who do you say that I am?" Peter responded by saying, "You're the Christ, the Messiah (the 'Annointed One'), the Son of the living God."

One final thought. This Sunday is Easter. Why not make sure that both you and your children can answer the question, "Who is Jesus Christ?"

I'm Dennis Rainey, and that's Real FamilyLife.
