Dennis Rainey: You know, it's great to hear all those people and what they're thankful for on this Thanksgiving Day. Thanksgiving needs to be a part of our lives the other 364 days of the year as well. But here at Thanksgiving, there are some things I'm thankful for. In fact, today we are most likely gathered around our table writing down on 3 x 5 cards five things we are most thankful for.

Here are my five. First of all, for my wife of twenty eight years, Barbara. Number two, for my second grandbaby. Number three, for good health, which I've taken for granted in the past.

Number four, for the memories we've made this past year, especially on our family vacation. And number five, that God in His love continues to pursue me.

One final thought. On this Thanksgiving day, why don't you take a moment with your family to list some things you're thankful for? And then, make it a daily habit. Let's make every day a Thanksgiving Day.

I'm Dennis Rainey, and that's Real FamilyLife.
