Mouth Manners Rule # 22
June Hines Moore
Rule: br>Good mouth manners exclude unkind comments, gossip, and mocking others. Reason: br>It hurts to have someone say unkind things about you, tell your private business, or make fun of you. Application: br>Explain to your child how to handle such bad mouth manners. One approach is not to participate in the name calling or gossip. Another approach is to make a positive comment about the person being ?racked over the coals.? Sometimes, silence is the best way to quiet a vocal naysayer.
