Jared says he is living out his dream of becoming a husband and a dad. He is passionate about adoption, serving with his church’s adoption ministry and as the father of six, including three adopted kids. He and his family attend a multi-ethnic, racially diverse church, where Jared teaches senior high students. Jared and his wife, Marisa, have been married for 20 years, and live with their children in Little Rock, Arkansas. |

Jared Elmquist joined the FamilyLife team in 1995 and now serves as vice president of the organization's Development Group. Prior to joining the FamilyLife team, Jared worked as a feed and management consultant for GTA Feeds in Minnesota, his home state. He attended Bethel College in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he received a bachelor's degree in biology and also played on the basketball team.
