Butch WalkerVice President, Support Services
As vice-president of FamilyLife's support services, Butch provides leadership for the team of people who work directly with FamilyLife constituents by answering emails and phone calls. He also manages information services, the team that keeps the computer systems online for FamilyLife. Prior to coming to FamilyLife, Butch spent 10 years as vice president of information services for a marketing services firm in Oklahoma City. He also worked for several years at University of Oklahoma in the computing services departments. Butch's education includes both a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in computer science from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Okla. Butch is a member of his church choir and enjoys involvement in various Bible studies. He also recently witnessed his oldest son achieve the rank of Eagle Scout, an achievement Butch accomplished himself at a young age. Butch and his wife, Karaña, have been married for 19 years. They have five children, two of whom were adopted from South Korea. |
