FamilyLife's Development Group (Donor Relations and Donor Communications)

Our mission is to raise general funds to meet the established budget and manage the fund-raising process in accordance with the goals and priorities of the senior leadership of FamilyLife. The way we do that is to encourage biblical giving as we build relationships, share vision, and invite participation through effective communication.

Biblical giving, we believe, starts with the understanding that God owns it all (Psalm 24:1) and that He is concerned with the heart of the giver as well as with the ministry needing the gift. Our biblical philosophy of development is built around Philippians 4:17 which states, “Not that I am looking for a gift, but I am looking for what may be credited to your account.”

As representatives of the Development Group, we touch people of all types from every walk of life. As such, we use a variety of methods to communicate with people where they are—mail, email, web, phone, events, personal visits and more. We need staff that can effectively and creatively contribute to the accomplishment of these tasks, being motivated and enthusiastic about helping to fund all the work of FamilyLife.
