Salary and benefits

FamilyLife missionary staff are responsible for developing a team of ministry partners who will provide for their monthly salary, ministry expenses, and benefits. Comprehensive training (New Staff Training) is provided to equip new staff with the proper tools and methods to successfully raise their support. During this training, monthly support goals will be established and determined by your salary, ministry expenses, and benefits.

Salary is based on personal needs, such as marital status, number of dependents, cost of living in Little Rock, AR, and other special needs as determined by FamilyLife.

Ministry Expenses including automobile and travel expenses are reimbursable (non-taxable), as are medical expenses not covered by our group medical policy.

Benefits

  • Group medical and dental plans
  • Voluntary 403(b) employee retirement program
  • Basic and Voluntary life insurance
  • Disability income
  • Pension
  • Worker's Compensation

Once your support goal has been raised, you will report to your initial assignment. All financial contributions are made payable to Campus Crusade for Christ and are tracked by your staff ministry account. These funds pay your salary, benefits, insurance, administrative costs, reimbursements, etc.

The goal of our salary, reimbursements, and benefits structure is to allow staff members to meet individual and family needs. All staff members, including Campus Crusade for Christ president Steve Douglass and FamilyLife President Dennis Rainey, work under the same financial policies and pay scale.

Some are called to "go," others are called to "send." Raising support allows you to involve others in your ministry and to discover, through faith, that when God calls, He also enables.

Additional Benefits: On-going Staff Development

The Bible states in Psalm 78:72 that David shepherded God's people with integrity of heart and led them with skillful hands. At FamilyLife, we believe in the concept of equipping our staff in order to develop their spiritual and professional lives and, in turn, increase our ministry's effectiveness. Developing and equipping the staff called to FamilyLife is our mission.
