Media Materials AvailableIt's no surprise that media is a powerful influence in almost every culture of the world. As Christians, we have an opportunity and a responsibility to use media wisely to present biblical truths for families to a world in need. Writting and Internet may be the best ways for a small ministry to begin using media for outreach and discipleship. These are probably the easiest ways to break into media, but both can grow in complexity as your ministry develops. More advanced ministries may want to consider the use of radio, DVDs, and TV to extend your reach and relevance. Consider ways that writing, Internet, radio, DVDs and TV can become part of your strategy within your country. Remember to include the FamilyLife National Director in your plans, and communicate with the FamilyLife Global department to ensure that any necessary agreements are properly signed. And of course, pray about the opportunities that God may give you to ministry through media. FamilyLife Global has compiled a Media Handbook to help your ministry. If you would like one please contact us at global@familylife.com. Radio MaterialsFamilyLife has seen how radio greatly enhanced the various ministries of FamilyLife in the United States and Australia. There is hope that radio in other parts of the world would aid and expand the FamilyLife offices of that region. But more importantly, change individuals, marriages, and families. Christian radio ministers each and every day. The broadcasts pick up where the conferences, Bible Studies, and conversations leave off. What FamilyLife Global Broadcasting can offer:
The International English version of FamilyLife Today provides practical, biblical tools to address the issues affection your family in a format that is conversational in nature. At the core of every program are motivation, encouragement, and help. It's similar to the United States version of "FamilyLife Today," but it's tailored to Spanish speaking listerners.
Vida en Familia Hoy is the Spanish re-creation of FamilyLife Today and is produced by HCJB
Real FamilyLife with Dennis Rainey provides godly wisdom for life's toughest questions. In each 90-second program, Dennis Rainey heads to the street to get a cultural perspective on the issues that affect families today. He then provides a biblical response and gives listeners a practical way to make their families strong.
The Family Manifesto Spanish progam contains talks based on The Family Manifesto booklet in Spanish. The Family Manifesto teaches on the character of a biblical family, shows individuals how to honor God through their family relationships, and helps parents discover how to influence their children’s beliefs about God, marriage, and family. The hosts Leonel and Miriam Motta serve as the FamilyLife Directors of Latin America. These Spanish broadcasts run 15 minutes in length.
