I first heard about the nativity book on the radio while listening to a Family Life segment. I have purchased 3 of the "What God Wants for Christmas®" kits from a local Christian bookstore. I have 3 grown daughters and plan to give each of them one of the kits for their families. They have small children, ages 4 years and under. We are all getting together early December to celebrate Christmas because it is the only time we can all be together. We will tell the story of the birth of Jesus using one of the kits that weekend when we are all together. Then each family will have a kit to take back to their homes to share with others. I am so looking forward to sharing the story of Jesus' birth with my small grandchildren in this special way and I cannot think of a better gift for a grandma to give. I have no idea the many ways God will use the storybooks. My daughters and their families live in 3 different states so the books will travel somewhat. One thing I do know, it will be a special blessing for our family that weekend.

Every year I look for new ideas when it comes to sharing the gift of Christ with my 4 year old pre-k class. This year when I saw "What God Wants for Christmas®" I knew it would be another great treasure to use yearly. In our class, we shared a different box daily. Each day, I would start the story over and then add the new box. By the end of the 7th box, my class could recite many parts of the story and say word for word the last paragraph of the poem. The children thoroughly enjoyed this precious item and it was one more way of sharing Christ with my class. Each little seed planted makes a difference in eternity..
