Can I just take a moment to tell you HOW CUTE that story is!!??!!
I was listening to the broadcast on Monday (11/28) as I was headed to the mall to start my Christmas shopping. As I'm driving, I'm hearing about this interactive nativity scene with the story of Jesus. Well, our family had yet to find an appropriate nativity scene for our home, so I drove straight to the Christian bookstore to check WGWFC out. I walked in, she steered to me where they were, I picked it up, looked at the price, and walked out with FIVE of them! One for my son and one for each of his friends. (I'm also tempted to buy a few more, it's THAT cute.)
So I wrapped his up. I labeled it "To: Cooper, From: Jesus" and set it under the tree. When he came home from preschool, he saw it sitting under the tree and was so excited to open it, so I let him do it. He's 3-years-old and he just loved opening up all those little boxes to see what was inside each box. We opened all 7 in one sitting!
The next day at his Christian preschool, they were talking about the story of Jesus and his teacher told me that he piped up and said, "I have a baby Jesus at home!" We even have plans to bring WGWFC to Show & Tell.
I'm so excited about this nativity scene! I really want my son to grow up and know the true meaning of Christmas. I think he's off to a good start. Thank you!!! And Merry Christmas!

I couldn't find the "Let us Know" place on your www.whatgodwantsforchristmas website, so I'll just share our experiences here! :) We had THREE parties this week (Good news Clubs with CEF), and shared the presents/poem with 70 children through these 3 parties. There is a beautiful "awe" about telling the Christmas story to children, even though some have heard it. Kids who are routy and hard to sit still, sat completely through the whole story and it was quiet! We knew the Spirit of God was working! These clubs are held in the public schools, and we are amazed how many children do not know anything about Jesus, so it was very exciting to receive this resource and present the Christmas story with a salvation message through it! We had a great time telling the story, and then doing the Christmas ornament craft. Because we didn't have pictures of the kids to put in the inside, we went to a craft store and bought oval mirrors and hotglued them into place inside the card. Then the kids decorated around the mirror with Christmas stickers and put the lace on the front and the ribbon bow. Thank you for a wonderful resource to use! It has even made me stop to think about how God would really like His Son's birth to be celebrated. It is amazing to think that God who made everything and can have everything, wants ME!
THANK YOU! We have also enjoyed listening to your program this week talk about the presents, and KNOW what is in box number seven! :0)

Thank you again for the What God Wants for Christmas. It worked beautifully as a presentation of the Christmas story for the Sparks (K-2nd grade). The children enjoyed guessing what was in each gift box and were moved by the last gift box, especially as I took it around the room for each child to look inside to see the gift was themselves.
One boy, 2nd grade, asked about receiving Christ after the presentation. Because of their young ages, I usually present the gospel message without specifically inviting responses, but he asked his small-group leader who brought him to me. I was excited to be able to pray with a child to receive Christ.
This new resource is truly wonderful! It will certainly become a regular part of my "curriculum" for December.
God bless you, and Merry Christmas!
Here are all the kids tonight after we did What God Wants For Christmas and they are all holding their mirrors!!! THANKS AUNT BON!!! You have such a BIG HEART and the night was really special because of what you gave our family! Joel did the whole story and opened the boxes...it was so great!

Thank you, thank you, thank you....for this extraordinary, creative, God-inspired answer to the wonderful account of Christ's birth!! This truly is a nativity where children can experience so graphically the truths surrounding Christ's entrance into our world.
I was so excited to hear about this resource on Christian radio. I immediately went on line and ordered two of What God wants for Christmas, giving one to our youngest grandchildren, and one for use in my Good News Club and Children's Church. Today after school, I presented What God Wants for Christmas to eight GNC kids in our small school in central Wisconsin. They were so excited as they each held a box (one older girl gave her box up to a younger child) eagerly anticipating its contents. When I called the girl holding box #7 up to the front, I asked her to look, but not to tell the others what was in the box. Then I called each child up to look inside, and it became very clear that "what God wants for Christmas is me!" They quietly went back to their seats and listened intently as I shared from the section in the book Unwrapping the Beauty of Box #7.
After our hour was up, one little first grader named Samantha who has been in our Good News Club since September, came up to me after the others were gone and said, "I want to have my sins forgiven" After talking with her it was clear she understood her need to be adopted into God's forever family. As you know, there is no greater thrill than to see a child come to Christ. Samantha's name is now written in the Lamb's book of life. Praise God!
God bless you for providing this wonderful resource for those of us who love kids and want to see them come into His kingdom!!
Gratefully,

I was listening to your program and I heard about your What God Wants for Christmas box while getting ready for school. I started thinking about how I could use your story box for our ESL students. I used the little figures to tell the Christmas story with a Spanish interpreter. I gave them a Bible verse to reinforce that God wants us and upon finishing everyone clapped. Thank you so much for this wonderful way to teach God's love and plan.
