Campus Crusade for Christ National Director of Ecuador, Armando Tamayo, met with the Generals of the Army, Navy, Air Force and the Joint Chief.  They held a Transformational Leadership conference with 1700 senior officers in attendance.  When the men were asked if they would like a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and accept Him into their hearts, 1200 raised their hands.  As a follow-up there was a "One Day to Treasure" marriage conference for 700 military couples in April. 

Leonel Motta, Director of Latin America, and his wife, Miriam, are involved in other events such as presentations to university students about how to choose a mate, "One Day to Remember" seminars, training leaders to facilitate small group discussions, and church retreats.  Also Gabe Buchholtz from FamilyLife Global in the US has trained couples to launch and develop FamilyLife and to build City Ministry teams.

HCJB, the hosts the Spanish FamilyLife Today radio broadcast, are willing to pay for the shipment of two Print on Demand kits to this country so that materials for all seminars, one-day events, and HomeBuilders groups may be printed. 

Kent and Gulni Leander are FamilyLife partners and missionaries with Equator Ministries in Ibarra, Ecuador. They present marriage events and lead HomeBuilders groups.
