I am looking for some program that our church can use to help homeless, addicts,etc..
We have a couple in our church who buys home,s and then houses homeless people, to help get them off the streets. I wanted to direct them in an area where they can do more than just house, feed, and care for them. Something to help them become responsible people once again, or for the first time. thank You Sincerly William M.

Wonderful show thank you for sharing. We minister in the inner city of Columbia, SC and have been ministering in the streets for a few years now. We too believe there has to be more to offer than what we have seen available. We recently aquired a warehouse in the Columbia and are opening something a little different for people we like to call Urban Explorers. We believe to come along side someone you must understand where they are, how they got there and how best to help them get back on track. Small groups of christian based therapy & programs, group homes, medical & dental attention, biblical & job trainning and genuine acceptance with LOVE are the key elements to assisting these people. We feed them physically and spiritually in the streets weekly now and have developed relationships with many to take it a step further, we have also seen the challenges they have on the journey of recovery and restoration.

I work in the computer industry, and am looking for Christian groups who are in need of computers. They could be using them for training of people, or internal. These would be refurbished. Are there groups that you know of that have needs in this area?
