The Art of Marriage Experts
The Art of Marriage® curriculum isn’t just a recording of one or two speakers at a marriage conference. This unique video event and small-group Bible study series features over 40 experts who share from personal experience as well as biblical training. Their expert teaching is woven together with real-life stories, humorous vignettes, and more to portray both the challenges and beauty of God’s design.
Listed below are some of the experts we’ve included.
Dr. Voddie Baucham, Jr., wears many hats. He is a husband, father of six, pastor, author, professor, conference speaker, and church planter. He currently serves as pastor of preaching at Grace Family Baptist Church in Spring, Texas. He and his wife, Bridget, have been married since 1989.
Dr. Wayne Grudem is a research professor of theology and biblical studies at Phoenix Seminary. He previously taught at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and has served as the president of the Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood, as president of the Evangelical Theological Society (1999), member of the translation oversight committee for the English Standard Version of the Bible, and as the general editor for The ESV Study Bible.
Dave Harvey (D.Min., Westminster Theological Seminary) is a teaching pastor of preaching at Summit Church in Naples, Florida, having served in pastoral ministry since 1986. Dave continues to serve on the board of Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation and travels nationally and internationally preaching on marriage, leadership, and local church life. He is the author of When Sinners Say “I Do”, Am I Called?, and Rescuing Ambition. Dave lives in Tallahassee, Florida, with his wife, Kimm. They have four children.
Dr. Crawford Loritts is the senior pastor of Fellowship Bible Church in Roswell, Georgia, the host of the daily radio program Living a Legacy, an internationally-known Bible teacher, and the author of numerous books including A Passionate Commitment, Leadership as an Identity, and Never Walk Away. Crawford and his bride, Karen, have been married since 1971 and live in Atlanta. They have four grown children and five grandchildren.
Tim Muehlhoff (Ph.D., University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) has been on staff with Cru since 1986 and currently teaches classes in interpersonal communication, rhetoric, and family communication at Biola University. He is the author of Marriage Forecasting, Authentic Communication, and The God Conversation (with J.P. Moreland). Tim and his wife, Noreen, are frequent speakers at FamilyLife’s Weekend to Remember marriage getaways and live in Brea, California, with their three sons.
Dennis Rainey, along with his wife, Barbara, is the cofounder of FamilyLife—a division of Cru—and a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary. Dennis is senior editor of The Art of Marriage® Connect Series and daily host of the nationally-syndicated and award-winning radio program FamilyLife Today®. Dennis has authored numerous books including Staying Close, a winner of the Gold Medallion Award from the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association. He and his wife, Barbara, have six children and numerous grandchildren.
Paul David Tripp is a pastor, author, and international conference speaker. He is the president of Paul Tripp Ministries and works to connect the transforming power of Jesus Christ to everyday life. This vision has led Paul to write many books on Christian living and travel around the world preaching and teaching. Paul’s driving passion is to help people understand how the gospel of Jesus Christ speaks with practical hope into all the things people face in this broken world. He has been married for many years to Luella and they have four grown children.
