Don and Sue Myers

Oklahoma…Don’s in Business Law and Marketing and Sue’s in Elementary Education.

Don served in the U.S. Air Force as a Courier Officer in the 1950’s where his flight crew was responsible for the security and safe transport of atomic weapons from U.S. special weapon depots to ‘stockpile’ points overseas. Later he owned and flew his own private aircraft as a businessman in Oklahoma and California.

Don and Sue both received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in 1963 and five years later they joined the full-time staff of Campus Crusade for Christ.

The Myers have been on the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ for 40 years. For 16 years Don directed the Africa ministry of Campus Crusade which began with only 37 staff in 6 countries in 1973. When he handed over to three African leaders in 1990 God had so blessed the ministry that it had grown to 750 staff in 28 African countries.

Don and Sue then moved to London England for the next 15 years where they participated in the London Business and Professionals Ministry. During those years they traveled extensively speaking at FamilyLife marriage and parenting conferences.

Don has always had a particular interest in the training of pastors and church leaders…and has conducted such training on three continents. By the time Don and Sue relocated from England to Orlando Florida at the end of 2004 they had ministered in thirty-two countries of Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America.

They are now attached to the Presidents Office at the Campus Crusade’s Lake Hart headquarters in Orlando where Don serves as a Director-at-Large.

Don and Sue have five children and fifteen grandchildren. Four of their five children have served full-time with Campus Crusade in Poland, South Africa, Senegal and France.
