Behold the Lamb

Is the gospel the focus of your Easter celebration? Barbara Rainey reminds us that Easter is a perfect time to proclaim your faith to believers as well as nonbelievers as they visit your home during the Lenten season. A great way to do that is through “Behold the Lamb,” an interactive devotional Barbara created designed to teach your children who Jesus is. Consisting of an artfully designed wreath featuring a lamb and the words, “I AM,” this resource explores the eight “I AM” statements Jesus made about himself in John.

After faithfully served alongside Dennis, both in ministry and at home, Barbara launched a new endeavor called Ever Thine Home®. This line of home décor with interactive content helps families express faith at home in a way that is both biblical and beautiful. Her heart for Ever Thine Home is based on the familiar Old Testament instruction:
“And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.” (Deuteronomy 6:6-9, ESV)
Dennis and Barbara live near Little Rock, Arkansas and continue to serve with Cru, FamilyLife’s parent organization. They have six children and an impressive number of grandchildren.

Tracey is the mom of two, a teen and a 20 year old and her home is regularly full of their friends as she intentionally invests into their lives. She delights in doing video interviews and exploring momlife with all types of moms. Her first book, Be The Mom is available wherever books are sold. Tracey has been a mom since 1993 and she and Bill have been married for 27 years.

Tracey Says: “Hey – I’m Tracey Eyster, Implementer of Fun and the happily in love wife of Bill! My home is constantly filled with teenagers and college students– and that’s a good thing! My daughter is a Junior in college, my son a High School Senior and each is chasing after God and pursuing their natural bent. You might find us hiking, camping, kayaking, on a horse, a dirt bike, go cart, or four wheeler, but you definitely won’t find us sitting still…for long! Intentional parenting and relationship building are a priority in our home! And for the record – I never met a fresh baked chocolate laced cookie I didn’t like and housework is highly overrated!”
