Jill Rigby Garner, character education and parenting expert, nonprofit founder of Baton Rouge-based Manners of the Heart®, is also an inspiring speaker, award-winning author and the publisher of heart education programs and books for students, educators and parents. Jill’s deepest desire and calling are to bring a return of God’s principles of respect and civility to our society.

Her most recent books, Raising Unselfish Children in a Self-Absorbed World and the Gold Mom’s Choice, Raising Respectful Children in a Disrespectful World have been endorsed by Dr. Henry Cloud, Dennis Rainey, Focus on the Family, Dr. Kevin Leman and John Rosemond. Due to popular demand, she has just completed an extensive expansion of the original Manners of the Heart curriculum for grades K-5.

A popular media guest, Jill has appeared on the CBS Early Show, CNN, Focus on the Family, HomeWord, Family Life Today, and hosts a monthly parenting segment on local WAFB.

Whether sharing the stage with Chonda Pierce to minister to women’s hearts or speaking to a small group of moms and dads, Jill’s passion never diminishes. Most recently, she participated as one of twelve experts in an online global parenting summit, through the innovative FLOW platform out of Singapore.
