Must be available at the getaway hotel by 3:00 pm Friday.
Tasks include registration set-up, welcoming guests, and distributing name tags and getaway manuals during registration. Will also help with distribution and collection of materials on Saturday and Sunday.
Friday: 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Saturday: 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
Sunday: Various times – 1:30 pm
Resource Center Worker
Must be available all day Friday beginning at 10:00 am for set-up, and after the getaway Sunday until pack-up is completed (usually by 3:00 pm). Involves lifting of boxes and books.
Throughout the weekend you will assist people who are looking for resources to purchase. Familiarity with products is helpful but not necessary.
You will serve during the breaks between sessions during the entire weekend.
Friday: 10:00 am – 9:45 pm
Saturday: 8:00 am – 5:30 pm
Sunday: 8:30 am – 3:00 pm
At our marriage getaways, we need several couples to help us with set-up and administrative details throughout the weekend. If you have skills in guest relations or administration please fill out the form below to volunteer. These positions require a Friday-through-Sunday commitment. Most require taking time off of work on Friday. Registration discounts may apply for those who are accepted.
FamilyLife recommends that you enhance your getaway experience by staying overnight at the getaway hotel. You are responsible for making your hotel reservations. When you call the hotel to make your room reservation, mention that you are attending FamilyLife’s Weekend to Remember so that you will receive the discounted room rate we have negotiated with the hotel. You must reserve your hotel room at least three weeks prior to the getaway in order to guarantee this special discount rate.
