Think of this weekend as a chance to focus on each other—without logistics getting in the way. Here’s how to keep lodging, meals, and packing simple.

Three Things to Arrange

  • Where you’ll stay (hotel, home, or rental)
  • What you’ll eat (meals are not provided at the event)
  • What to bring (don’t forget a few essentials)

Where to Stay

Pick what helps you stay present together.

Option 1: Conference Hotel (Recommended)

Closest to the venue and easiest during breaks—turns the weekend into a real getaway with fewer distractions.

How to book: A special-rate booking link will be emailed after registration. Room blocks are limited and may expire—book early for the best rate and availability.

Option 2: Stay at Home

If you live nearby, commuting works fine. Just plan for Saturday’s 9 AM–5 PM sessions with one 90‑minute lunch break. Also, try and arrange a sitter so the two of you can enjoy a date night on your own. We provide some fun conversation starters and you can immediately start practicing what you learned!

Choose any place that fits your budget and preferences—traditional hotels or short‑term rentals like Airbnb or Vrbo.

Option 3: Any Hotel or Short‑Term Rental

Meals & Dining

Food and drinks aren’t provided—plan ahead so you’re not scrambling between sessions. A weekend budget per couple: $75–$125 (adjust to your needs).

Typical Meals

  • Friday dinner (before you arrive)
  • Saturday breakfast
  • Saturday lunch (90‑minute break, ~12:30–2:00 PM)
  • Saturday “date night” dinner
  • Sunday breakfast
  • Snacks + drinks throughout

Meal Options

Eat Nearby: Grab something close to the venue for Friday dinner and Saturday lunch.

Mix It Up (Recommended): Pack snacks + drinks, then choose 1–2 restaurant meals.

Pack Your Own: Bring easy breakfasts, lunches, snacks, and drinks. A small cooler helps.
