Why should your family go on mission?

More is caught than taught.
What better way to disciple our children and fill them with a lifelong vision for walking with and serving Christ than by doing ministry together? Not only that, but families will minister alongside other families, influencing each other’s kids to walk with Christ.
Our hope is to impact families who join us on mission to experience Jesus more deeply for themselves and for them to have greater impact for the Kingdom, wherever God has placed them. Through devotions, training, and time together as a family, along with on the ground experiences, we believe your family will not only have an incredible time, but will also walk away equipped for life-long ministry.

North Africa
Participants: 13+ recommended
Cost:
$2000/person (includes all in-country costs: housing, transportation, meals, materials), + flight costs (roughly $1500-$2500 depending on where your flight originates)

Join FamilyLife’s mission to a country in northern Africa that is home to a wealth of Biblical history, where we will take part in serving our Christian brothers and sisters, coming alongside them to minister to refugees from nearby countries. This mission trip will give you opportunities to learn from the Christians there, build relationships with those whom we are seeking to share Christ, distribute water filters in underserved communities, invest in the spiritual growth of your family, and all while getting to experience much of the culture and history that this country has to offer.
During this mission we will spend time doing evangelistic outreach with the local church, encourage refugee families through a family camp, as well as explore some key historic locations. Your family will be equipped ahead of time with outreach training and coaching.

Imagine having people line up for hours to talk to you about how they can go to heaven…that’s what we’ll be a part of this summer in Ocean City, NJ! Bring your family to spend a week of your summer in one of America’s greatest beach destinations, getting great outreach training and having amazing gospel conversations with dozens and dozens of people ready to talk about God. We will also take a day to visit Philadelphia, both to serve a local ministry there and see some of the historical sites. Your family will be built up in your faith and grow closer together as you serve and have fun together in this beautiful town.
Cost includes housing, transportation during the week, breakfast and some dinners.
