Fred Lowery is the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of Bossier City, Louisiana. Known for its friendliness, sweetness and evangelistic zeal, First Bossier has over 7,000 members. He is a devoted family man husband to Leigh, father of two daughters and grandfather to six.
The First Word, Dr. Fred’s broadcast ministry, began in June, 1983 and for over ten years has been the top rated Sunday program in a tri-state area. The program is heard on various cable outlets around the country.
