Ron: Sandra remarried after her first husband left her and the kids high and dry. But still her guilt haunted her; she was afraid she needed to divorce her second husband to get right with God. I assured her that another divorce was not what God wanted. In fact, in Deuteronomy 24 he strictly forbids divorcing a second spouse to reconcile with the first. But even after hearing that her sense of shame made her wonder if she could ask for God’s blessing on her current marriage.
