Kerry Bradley, Retired as President of Luxottica Retail

Kerry Bradley retired as President of Luxottica Retail, North America—the leading eyewear retailer in the world, with brands such as LensCrafters, Pearle Vision, Sears Optical, Target Optical, and Sunglass Hut—capping a 30-year career in consumer-driven businesses.

He received his bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing from Auburn University and his masters in International Business from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.

Bradley began his career in brand management with Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati, Ohio then co-founded 20/20 Research, a marketing research and consulting firm in Nashville, Tennessee.  Recruited to his lead client, LensCrafters, he sold his ownership in 20/20 and returned to “big business” where he remained for 24 years, ascending through a variety of management positions to ultimate leadership of Luxottica Retail.

Kerry has focused his ministry service in the local church, serving in various leadership/teaching roles, but also has a long relationship with Cru through its Athletes In Action ministry and Auburn University campus ministry. He has maintained a long relationship with Auburn University’s Harbert College of Business, and currently serves as campaign chair for its $100 million campaign, as a member of the Advisory Council’s Strategy and Resources Committee, and has been elected to the Auburn University Foundation Board of Directors.

Kerry and his wife Laura relocated to Auburn, Alabama as full-time volunteers with a vision of creating a marriage movement throughout the state of Alabama, starting with their own church (and young-married Sunday school class). This has flowed from a several year partnership with FamilyLife, and leans heavily on FamilyLife resources such as Art of Marriage, Stepping Up, etc. They have three grown children and one (also grown) son-in-law.
