Business Meeting
Parents it may be time for a business meeting. No doubt lots of parenting takes place on the fly. I'll be honest. We're pretty much making it up as we go, right? Which is why we need to slow down.

Ron: Parents it may be time for a business meeting.
Announcer: For FamilyLife Blended®, here’s Ron Deal.
Ron: There’s no doubt lots of parenting takes place on the fly. I’ll be honest. We’re pretty much making it up as we go, right? Which is why we need to slow down. We have to get proactive with a planned time to discuss our parenting strategies. Call it a business meeting if you’d like, but you need to do it. I also recommend that co-parents do the same thing.
You can address visitation schedules and report cards and discipline strategies and spiritual development. What you don’t discuss is your personal life or old issues, because this is a parenting meeting not a personal one. Drawing the line between those two things is very important, but if you can do it, your kids win. For FamilyLife Blended I’m Ron Deal.
