Ron: It was a mid-life wedding with a few adult children. But as the couple drove away on their honeymoon his son called him to say that a sister was having an emotional breakdown. And while they were talking her daughter called her to report that his adult children were not helping with the cleanup because someone was having a crying fit. The couple—this was not their dream—looked at each other, turned off their cell phones, and went on their honeymoon…only to return home in her words, “completely unprepared for stepfamily living.”
