Glenna Bevin

First Lady Glenna Bevin is a wife, mother of nine children, a former nurse and a dedicated Kentuckian. Along with Governor Bevin, she chose Kentucky as the place where she wanted to put down roots and raise her family. She has been engaged with her church, community and state ever since.

As First Lady, she has made Kentucky’s children and families her primary focus. Her top priority is to facilitate the building of stronger families. Mrs. Bevin believes that the best possible conditions for a child are when they live in a stable home with their mother and father. However, there are times when tragic situations arise that damage the integrity of families.

That is why Mrs. Bevin has put much of her energy and time into Uniting Kentucky and #WeAreKy initiatives. As a mother of four adopted children of her own, the First Lady empathizes with the challenges faced by both those wanting to adopt and those children waiting for a “forever home.” Thus, along with the Governor, she has brought the weight and esteem of the position Kentuckians have entrusted her with to address these issues with passion, dedication and devotion.

Glenna Bevin is committed to her family, her Christian faith, the Commonwealth and the policies that Governor Bevin is implementing and will implement for the good of all Kentuckians.

She is grateful and humbled by the trust the people of the Commonwealth of Kentucky have placed in her and the governor.
