Jim and Shirley Mozena

Jim and Shirley Mozena have a heart for those who have lost a loved one in death. Twice a year, they facilitate GriefShare, a thirteen-week seminar and support group designed to help rebuild the grievers’ life. It was in helping widows and widowers, they believed a book would benefit those wanting to re-marry. Thus, Second Chance at Love: Navigating the Path to Remarriage was written. Together, they share down-to-earth guidance on the situations they faced when considering marriage again.

Shirley is a speaker for Stonecroft Ministries, as well as a prayer leader in the local Stonecroft group. She publishes a weekly blog on encouragement and hope and has written three books. Her articles have been published in her local newspaper, Christian publications, and “Angel’s” magazine. Shirley mentors younger women, and serves on the Deaconess Board at church. Her blogs and books are available at shirleymozena.com.

Jim was owner and president of Mozena Consulting Group LTD, taught university business classes and authored four books on improving organizational performance. He now uses those skills as School Board Chairman for the hybrid Christian school at their church, serves as an elder, and LIFE group leader.

They absolutely love their blended family of eight children, seventeen grandchildren, and three great grands, and enjoy entertaining in their home. Their energetic dog, Rudy, a spaniel/terrier mix, brings them joy as well as daily walks in their neighborhood. Both are active in community groups and keep busier than ever.
