Portia Collins

Portia Collins is a Bible teacher, author, and speaker passionate about helping women grow in their knowledge of Scripture and embrace the freedom found in Christ. She is the author of Finding Freedom in Christ: An 8-Week Study of Galatians (Crossway, August 2025) and a contributing author to Women and Work: Bearing God’s Image and Joining in His Mission Through Our Work and His Testimonies, My Heritage: Women of Color on the Word of God.

Her writing has been featured by Revive Our Hearts, The Gospel Coalition, Well-Watered Women, Risen Motherhood, and Word by Word (Logos Bible Study Software). She is the founder of She Shall Be Called, Inc., a nonprofit ministry dedicated to promoting Bible literacy among women.

She holds a certificate in Christian Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Portia lives in Greenwood, Mississippi, with her husband, Mikhail, and their daughter, where they are active members of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
