Welcome to Stronger Forever
Strength Track, Week Three

Time to challenge yourself. Click on an icon below for great ideas to try throughout this week.

Get intentional! And get one step closer to a stronger forever.

activity / idea
What is the greatest life-drain from your marriage right now? (Schedule? Kids? Media? Expectations? Out-of-control emotions? Perpetual anger? Thoughts about someone else? etc.) Decide on a single step you will take to leave yourself more “hydrated” for your spouse.

suggested time range
Once daily

goal
To isolate the extra weight or “empty calories” burdening your marriage, and make a definitive step to exchange it for something wiser, more loving, and more life-giving.

activity / idea
Kiss parts of your spouse’s body one by one, thanking God for what you love about that part. (These hands are so good with our kids. This hair is so thick and unique. The vocal cords within this neck speak life to so many people.)

suggested time range
7-10 minutes

goal
To increase your own appreciation of your spouse within affectionate foreplay.

activity / idea
Get competitive. Challenge your spouse to a game of one-on-one basketball. Be sure to guard them close. Fouling is off limits. But flirting is encouraged! Winner gets bragging rights and is rewarded with a kiss.

suggested time range
Varies; suggest at minimum once a month

goal
Discover one way to “play” with your spouse.

activity / idea
Talk about one hobby you could try together in a way your interests overlap: A pottery class? Cooking together? Hiking? Buying some canvases to paint together? Tennis? Antiquing? Biking?

suggested time range
30 minutes

goal
Increase desire for one another.

As you cool down, it’s time to reflect.

Read Song of Solomon 4:10:
“How beautiful is your love, my sister, my bride!
How much better is your love than wine,
and the fragrance of your oils than any spice!”

Pray together, remember to stretch yourself this week for the sake of your spouse, and stay flexible with your growth:

Father, help us celebrate what’s going right. Create gratitude in us for each other and what we have.
