Ron: Customer service really varies, doesn’t it? In one restaurant, they smile at you and seem eager to serve, while the next acts like they don’t care if you ever come back. Proverbs 11 suggests, “A kind man benefits himself, but a cruel man brings trouble on himself.” You know, simple kindness goes a long way whether we’re talking customer service or relationships.
So here is a little experiment to try. For the next 24 hours, treat everyone in your home with kindness and see if it doesn’t bring benefit to you, too. Pretend your spouse is a customer that you really want to impress. Or kids, happily serve your parent or sibling when they ask for something. And, just watch what happens.
