Bob: I can introduce you to some women, I know, who have read Kim’s book and who have benefitted from it. The book is called Fierce Women: The Power of a Soft Warrior. Go to FamilyLifeToday.com, and you can order a copy of the book from us. Again, our website: FamilyLifeToday.com; or call, toll-free—1-800-FL-TODAY is our number— 1-800-358-6329. That’s 1-800-“F” as in family, “L” as in life, and then, the word, “TODAY”. Again, the title of the book is Fierce Women. We’ll be happy to send you a copy when you get in touch with us to order it.

You know, we have a number of our listeners—who, in addition to being listeners, are patrons of FamilyLife Today. I don’t know that we often call them patrons—but those of you who are Legacy Partners—you provide a monthly donation in support of FamilyLife Today—or those of you, who, on occasion, will get in touch with us and say: “God has been using your program in my life,” and, “I needed to hear that,” or, “I just wanted to say, ‘Thanks,’ for what you guys are doing.” Whatever the motivation, when you donate to help support FamilyLife Today, you are helping to cover the costs of producing and syndicating this daily program.

This week, if you can make a donation, we’d like to say, “Thank you,” by sending you a CD that features a conversation we had with Kim and Krickitt Carpenter. Their story was made into a Hollywood movie, recently—a movie called The Vow. But the truth is—their story is better than Hollywood’s version. Our conversation with them was compelling as they talked about a car accident that left Krickitt in a coma. When she was revived, she did not recognize or even know her husband—didn’t even know she was married. It really is a compelling story. The CD is our thank-you gift when you support FamilyLife Today with a donation, of any amount, this week.

So, go to FamilyLifeToday.com. Click the button that says, “I CARE”, and make an online donation; or call 1-800-FL-TODAY to make a donation over the phone. We appreciate your support. We’re always happy to hear from you—and just want to say, “Thanks for partnering with us, here, in the ministry of FamilyLife Today.

And we hope you can be back with us, again, tomorrow. Pastor Jeff Schreve is going to be here. We’re going to talk about your emotions. We’re going to talk about why you feel the way you feel and how you can make sure that how you express it is under the control of the Holy Spirit. So, I hope you can be back with us tomorrow for that.

I want to thank our engineer today, Keith Lynch, and our entire broadcast production team. On behalf of our host, Dennis Rainey, I’m Bob Lepine. We will see you back next time for another edition of FamilyLife Today.

FamilyLife Today is a production of FamilyLife of Little Rock, Arkansas. Help for today. Hope for tomorrow.

We are so happy to provide these transcripts to you. However, there is a cost to produce them for our website. If you’ve benefited from the broadcast transcripts, would you consider donating today to help defray the costs?
