His writing has also appeared in numerous publications such as The Washington Post, Christianity Today, and The Wall Street Journal. He is also the author of Bad Dads of the Bible: 8 Mistakes Every Good Dad Can Avoid. He lives in Maryland with his wife, Yvette; together they have 2 grown sons, Jamin and Justin.
