Americans have no king. Perhaps that's why we don't grasp the true nature of kingship. Dennis Rainey reminds us of the glorious characteristics of our true king, Jesus Christ, by explaining the meaning of His names and the power that He alone possesses.

Bob: It is a devotional on each of the names of Jesus found in the box of Adorenaments that Barbara has created.

Dennis: So when you put the Adorenaments—and you hang these royal names of Christ on the tree, she sets you up to really unpack what these names mean. The seven names—the royal names of Christ are: the Almighty, the Lion of Judah, Son of David, King of Israel, Prince of Princes, King of Kings, and the last one—Lord of Lords.

All I can say is: “Folks, last year, when we featured these on FamilyLife Today, we sold out of these things in a matter of days.” I want to encourage you to get a set and to pass on the truth about who He is to your kids and your grandkids. Together, let’s seize the high ground for what Christmas and who Christmas is all about.

Bob: Well,if you want to see what these look like, go to our website, FamilyLifeToday.com, and click on the link for Adorenaments. You can see what Barbara has been working on and how beautiful they look on a Christmas tree.

22:00

You can order a set of Adorenaments from us, online, at FamilyLifeToday.com. You can order last year’s Adorenaments—the Christmas names of Jesus—or you can order this year’s Adorenaments, or order both of them—not only decorate your own tree with these—but consider giving these as gifts, as well. Go to FamilyLifeToday.com for more information about how to order a set of Adorenaments for your home. Again, the website, FamilyLifeToday.com; or call 1-800-FL-TODAY. That’s our toll-free number: 1-800-358-6329. That’s 1-800-“F” as in family, “L” as in life, and then, the word, “TODAY”.

By the way, when you visit our website, keep in mind what Dennis mentioned earlier in our program. We have a matching-gift fund that has been established this year. The exciting thing about this matching-gift fund is every dollar that is donated, to help support FamilyLife Today, during the month of December—it is going to be matched—

23:00

not dollar for dollar—not even two dollars for every one dollar—but three dollars for every dollar donated. You make a $50 contribution—it is automatically $200-worth of benefit to FamilyLife Today. The cap on the donation is $500,000; but to take full advantage of this matching gift, we need to hear from as many of our listeners as possible.

Would you consider going to FamilyLifeToday.com, click on the link that says, “I CARE”, and make an online donation?—again, knowing that your donation is going to be quadrupled—or call 1-800-FL-TODAY—1-800-358-6329. That’s 1-800-“F” as in family, “L” as in life, and then, the word, “TODAY”.

24:00

You can make a donation over the phone. You can also mail your donation to us. Our mailing address is FamilyLife Today, P O Box 7111, Little Rock, AR 72223.

We hope you can join us back again tomorrow when we are going to hear Part Two of Dennis Rainey’s message on “Jesus, the King of Kings”. That’s coming up tomorrow. Hope you can be with us for that.

I want to thank our engineer today, Keith Lynch, and our entire broadcast production team. On behalf of our host, Dennis Rainey, I’m Bob Lepine. We will see you back tomorrow for another edition of FamilyLife Today.
